What the calculator does with your inputs

The garage door calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your door type, opener choice, removal preference, ZIP code, and door count are read by JavaScript on your device to compute a range, and none of it is sent to us or stored anywhere unless you separately choose to submit the quote-request or contact form. Closing the tab clears it.

What we collect when you reach out

If you fill in the contact form or ask to be connected with an installer, we receive whatever you typed: typically your name, an email address, and your message. That information is used to answer you or to pass your request to a partner installer you asked to hear from, and nothing more.

Cookies, ads, and the consent banner

Like most sites carrying advertising, we use cookies to run the site, keep basic traffic counts, and let ad partners, including Google, show relevant ads based on past browsing. On your first visit you'll see a banner where you can accept or decline the non-essential cookies; declining still lets you use the calculator normally. You can review or opt out of Google's ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and see the broader list of ad partners at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We run Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages get used and how the calculator performs, so we can fix what isn't working. If you'd rather not be counted, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on blocks it.

Your rights over your data

Visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and several US states have rights to see, correct, delete, or restrict how their personal data is handled, and to decline the sale or sharing of it. To make any of those requests, use the contact page; we handle them directly rather than through an automated system.

Who else sees this data

We do not sell contact-form submissions. They go to the vendors that keep the site running, such as our form-delivery, analytics, and advertising providers, strictly to provide those services, and we keep messages only as long as it takes to resolve them.

Children

This site is written for homeowners and adults planning a purchase; it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone that age.
